LISTEN BACK: Men's Aid struggling to cope with demand for services

A male domestic violence charity says it's struggling to cope with demand for its services.

Men's Aid Ireland says there's been a surge in calls to its helpline during the pandemic.

The charity says it dealt with around 5,500 contacts last year, while 275 men came forward for free counselling.

Kathrina Bentley, CEO of Men's Aid, spoke to Aaron McElroy on The Wider View and started by describing what the past year has been like.
