The Egyptian authorities praised for their response to the case of a local woman who has been granted full custody of her two sons by prosecutors there.
37 year old Mandy Kelly from Monaghan and has been campaigning since 2022 for the return of her children, has won a landmark legal challenge in Cairo.
However, a police search is underway as the boys and their father are missing along with some of his family members. Dr Míceál O’Hurley who is a senior mediator with Munster Mediation has been acting as a mediator for Mandy says there's only one person to blame for their disappearance.
