Listen Back: Major drive for a bigger community childcare service in Magherarney

A fundraiser is aiming to move a local childcare service into a more permanent home.

Magherarney Community Childcare Service have been operating for almost 25 years in the area, but are now in need of another premises.

The service had been using the local primary school however, due to increasing pupil numbers, the school requires use of the room and the service is now looking to move into a new room in the old primary school. Committee Member of the Magherarney Community Childcare Service, Dearbhaile Genoe has been speaking to Jack Cunnane about the importance of the service to the area and this weekend's fundraiser.
