Individuals with an intellectual or physical disability, or over the age of 65, can have cancer diagnosed at a later stage. Therefore they have poorer outcomes in terms of death. That's according to a new research project. The project, funded by the Irish Cancer , is taking place at Trinity College Dublin. Moreover, "EuCan" is looking at the experience of cancer diagnosis and care of people who identify as being socially excluded.
