A Co Monaghan councillor is alerting people to a storm-related scam currently doing the rounds. The scammers are targeting people by text with a message purporting to be from the government offering people discounts on their electricity bill.
Jodie Curran spoke with Cllr Sean Conlon who received the scam text himself earlier today. He's reminding locals to be vigilant:
