Listen Back: Local schools to benefit from roll out of Hot School Meals Programme

36 schools in Cavan and 27 schools in Monaghan are set to benefit in the Hot School Meals Programme from April 2024.

The schools have been included as part of a list of 900 primary schools across every county that will receive hot school meals.

Deputy Smyth said: "The Hot School Meals Programme is an extremely important initiative that helps with children's wellbeing and nutrition. It is also known to facilitate better education outcomes and I know that today's announcement will be a relief to many parents and families that are struggling during this time.
