Deravoy National School in Carrickroe was this week crowned runners-up in the All Ireland Concern debating competition.
The event took place in the Helix in DCU at six o'clock on Thursday evening.
The national competition had over 260 schools taking part, with Deravoy National School and St Mary's National School in Cork down to the final two.
