Families in Cavan and Monaghan will receive a double child benefit payment today while a Christmas bonus to people including pensioners, carers and those with Disabilities will be paid this week.
10,781 families will receive a double child benefit payment in respect of 21,163 children in Cavan.
Elsewhere, 8,394 families will receive a double child benefit payment in respect of 17,111 in Monaghan.
