The body of 23-year-old Kelly Lynch was recovered from the Ulster Canal in Monaghan Town on St. Patrick's Day. Her family are still trying to piece together the full circumstances surrounding her fatal final hours and the Garda Commissioner has ordered a peer review of the initial investigation, which is still ongoing.
Kelly's mother, Julieanne, spoke to Zoe Tunney before Christmas when she appealed to anyone who could help put her family "out of their misery" to come forward, even anonymously:
