The Minister of State at the Department of Transport is the Northern Sound region today.
James Lawless is meeting with councillors from both Cavan and Monaghan to discuss serval transport issues.
Last night the minister met with Monaghan councillors along with Senator Robbie Gallagher. Indeed, the N2 and road safety measures were to the fore of discussions.

The Minister of State will visit Cavan this afternoon to discuss the likes of the N3 Virginia by-pass, roads funding and the school bus saga that has been felt since the beginning of the school term. Ronan Gargan has been speaking with Minister James Lawless about all these issues and more.
