The internet has become a fabric of society of growing up in Ireland according to a local youth worker. Today is Safer Internet Day, and to mark the day and we have been speaking to Caolan Faux who is the Director of Youth Work Ireland for Cavan and Monaghan.
He has been telling us about the issues that relate to accessing the internet for the younger people of this region.
Caolan says the internet is so pervasive in society, it's so normal adding that it so widespread, it's as common for young people as eating food. Ronan Gargan has been speaking to the local youth worker about some of the issues surrounding internet use.
