Representatives from the IFA met with Lidl management yesterday on the back of protests held in Cavan and Monaghan last week.
Farmers were demonstrating against the sale of poultry products at discounted prices and the impact this was having on producers and farmers.
The farming delegation consisted of President Tim Cullinan and the newly elected IFA Poultry Chair Nigel Sweetman.
