Teagasc, in collaboration with the IFA and St David's Poultry Veterinary Team hosted a Knowledge Transfer event, which took place in the Hotel Kilmore, Cavan.
The event was is aimed at giving egg producers the opportunity to meet, ask questions and develop a better understanding of what the next few years might look like for producers.
The event also allowed for producers to meet with key stakeholders, DAFM staff and fellow producers.
Our reporter Jodie Curran spoke with Brendan Soden during Tuesday's event. Brendan is the IFA's Poultry Vice-Chair and is also a Cavan egg producer.
