With just over a week left of the COVID-19 Spring Booster programme in Cavan Monaghan, the HSE are encouraging eligible cohorts in the two counties to get their boosters.
The Spring Boosters are still available to everyone aged 70 or older and those aged 5 years or older with a weak immune system across the region.
The programme will continue to run in CVC's and pop up clinics in Cavan Monaghan until June 15th.
Boosters for this cohort will not be available until the Autumn programme which will commence later in the year.
Those who are eligible can get a COVID-19 Spring booster from a participating GP or a pharmacy.
I spoke to Dr Louis O'Connor who is a consultant in public health medicine with the HSE earlier about this developing situation locally.
