A National Day of Action Against A&E Overcrowding is planned across the Island of Ireland tomorrow.
At 1pm demonstrations will take place outside of hospitals all over Ireland today to highlight the current situation in accident and emergency departments.
Aontú leader Peadar Tóibín, who is the chairperson of Save Navan Hospital campaign, along with hospital campaigners all over the country have decided to organise this national protest.
Protests are planned for up to 20 hospitals including Mullingar, Cavan, Sligo, Drogheda, Monaghan and Navan.
Local Area Representative for Aontú, Olivia Larkin is the hospital campaigner for Monaghan Hospital.
Olivia has been telling our reporter Ronan Gargan about the planned protests and why she was compelled to organise the Monaghan protest.
