National Heritage Week is underway across the region and we are spoilt for choice with so many events planned for the region.

Co Monaghan alone has 32 events taking place throughout the week.

Two free events are taking place in Clones at the Cassandra Hand Folk and Famine Centre with a demonstration on butter-making this afternoon and on Thursday a demonstration on spinning & carding is also planned.

Also on display they are items from the past, ranging from Clones Clogs, to butter-making equipment & to an original famine spoon.

Ronan Gargan has been speaking to Anne Corley and she has been telling me all about what's planned at the Clones centre to coincide with heritage week.
