A special event is planned at Laragh Tin Church this evening.
Stedfast Brass band is the last remaining company band in Ireland. It was set up in 1959 and this is an rare opportunity to here the best of brass music in Monaghan in a stunning setting. It will be a mix of film scores and original pieces. Last year it was a great success and highly recommended.
Ronan Gargan (Northern Sound news team) has been speaking to Dermot Lennon one of the people who looks after the tin church. Dermot has been telling me all about the popular attraction and the performance this evening.
