LISTEN BACK: 'Government should be ashamed for lifting eviction ban'

Deputy Matt Carthy has hit out at the Government's handling of the eviction ban and says it should be "ashamed" of itself for bringing it to an end. The Cavan Monaghan Sinn Fein TD says the move will plunge more people into homelessness - including some families in this region.

Speaking to the Wider View this week, Deputy Carthy says the homeless crisis in Ireland has arisen because of failed housing policies by successive Fianna Fail and Fine Gael Governments. But first he began by highlighting the impact of homelessness across the Northern Sound region.
