A Co Cavan councillor is calling for additional funding to be made available for the supply of defibrillators across communities. Sinn Fein's Noel Connell raised the matter at this week's sitting of Cavan County Council. Cllr Connell highlighted that he knows of two people who recently benefited from first responders equipment within the locality. While he described it as a "miracle" that defibrillators were available in both instances, Cllr Connell outlined the cost that is associated with such equipment.
