The first Corpus Christi Procession in over five decades took place last Sunday week in Bawnboy, with a huge crowd in attendance.
People from right across the region and further afield travelled to be a part of the historic event.
The celebration procession left from St Mogue's Church and travelled into Bawnboy village, led by Altar Servers and followed by young children dressed in their First Holy Communion clothes scattering flower petals along the route.
Parish Priest Father Sean Maguire followed has been speaking to our reporter Ronan Gargan about the celebratory event.
Father Maguire started his conversation with Ronan by telling him all about the procession that took place in Bawnboy.
