Cavan-Monaghan Sinn Féin TD Pauline Tully has been reacting to findings by Family Carers Ireland that highlights the rising financial burden on family carers across the country.
The report by Family Carers Ireland entitled 'The Cost of Living while Caring' deals with the financial situation of family carers of people with dementia in Ireland.
Deputy Tully spoke to the Wider View this week about the issue. She also pointed to the lengthy waiting lists across Cavan and Monaghan for children with disabilities and spoke about the need for an all-island approach to health care.
