The families and survivors of the Dublin/Monaghan bombings have lodged proceedings in the High Court against the Garda Commissioner and the Minister for Justice. The decision was made over their failure to provide files to the Northern Ireland Police Ombudsman's inquiry into the Glenanne series of cases, entitled Operation Newham.
The case has been taken in the name of Paddy Askin whose father was killed in the Monaghan Bomb. Jodie Curran spoke with Margaret Urwin from the 'Justice for the Forgotten' campaign group about this latest development:
