A Cavan councillor has raised her concerns over what she describes as the "negative impact" substance abuse is having across the locality. According to Fianna Fail's Patricia Walsh, drug use is becoming a "scourge on society" and as a mother and grandmother she is "concerned" for the well-being of future generations.
Cllr Walsh spoke to the Wider View this week about the matter. She began by highlighting the steps that now need to be taken to eradicate the sale and supply of drugs on the streets of Cavan and Monaghan.
