LISTEN BACK: Deputy Brendan Smith says drug lords will be taken down

Meanwhile, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau seized over €235m worth of drugs between 2016 and 2021. Fianna Fail TD for Cavan/Monaghan, Deputy Brendan Smith also raised a number of matters with the Minister.

Speaking to the Wider View, Deputy Smith said that new legislation to deal with criminal activity around the supply of drugs will help to bring down drug Lords and end the havoc they are wreaking on both people and society.
