LISTEN BACK: 'Cousin Joe's' historical visit to ancestral Co Louth

Businesses around Louth are hopeful the US President's visit to the area will give a boost to the local economy. Joe Biden is travelling to Carlingford and Dundalk before attending a number of events in Dublin and Mayo before his last day in Ireland on Friday.

Speaking to the Wider View this week, President Biden's 5th cousin, Cllr Andrea McKevitt says the family is hopeful that they will at least get to shake the President's hand during his visit. First though, she began by describing what it feels like to be related to the 46th President of the United States.
