A local councillor has raised the issue of how the Irish flag should be presented outside of government buildings.
Cllr Stiofan Conaty says no thing in the world gives him greater pride than to see our tri-colour taking its rightful place under the sun and among the flags of the nations of the world.
But when not under the sun, in the light it should remain and not left out in the dark, unlit at night. Cllr Conaty brought a motion to Cavan County Council in relation to the matter last week and he spoke to Ronan Gargan about the his calls.
