A Monaghan councillor has outlined his concerns over the housing crisis which is facing rural communities' right across the region.
Speaking at this week's Monaghan County Council meeting, Cllr Pat Treanor pointed to a number of issues in the local housing sector.
This included the 'Rural Housing Planning Guidelines' which are currently being updated by Government.
