A Monaghan County Councillor has called on the chief ambulance officer to meet with Monaghan County Council over lengthy wait times for an ambulance in the county.
Cllr Paudge Connolly brought a motion to the monthly meeting of the local authority, where he called for the chief ambulance officer to attend to discuss this important issue.
It's the second time that the Monaghan Councillor has made this call and comes about following a almost three hour wait for an ambulance for a child that was injured at a local football game.
Ronan Gargan has been speaking to Cllr Connolly about his recent motion and he has been highlighting his concerns in relation to these continuing lengthy wait times.
