Colm McEneaney shortlisted Monaghan People of the Year Awards. The twelve finalists for the Farney Foundation Co Monaghan People of the Year Awards 2024 announced live on the Wider View programme.

Local man, Brian Rudden, founded The Farney Foundation.  Indeed, it is a non-profit entity that promotes and supports anyone and anything associated with Co. Monaghan all over the world.

Anyone who has, or who has ever had, a connection with County Monaghan was eligible for nomination. The black tie event will take place at the The Hillgrove Hotel on Saturday the 22nd of February and on the night a cheque will be given to the winner for a charity or cause of their choice.

Colm McEneaney, from Carrickmacross, is one of the 12 finalists for the awards. Ronan Gargan has been speaking to Colm about being a voice for so many. As well as being a finalist in the county competition.
