A large number of people attended the launch of the Enough is Enough campaign which is calling for an upgrade to the A5.
The new campaign was launched in support of the A5 road project at a public event last night at the Tyrone GAA Centre in Garvaghey.
44 people have died on the road network over the past 16 years.
Families who have lost loved ones on the road were in attendance along with local representatives on both sides of the border.
Local Councillor Paudge Connolly was one of them representatives that was in attendance last night.
