Cllr Carmel Brady has been ratified by the national executive of Fine Gael last weekend to contest the upcoming General Election.
The ticket for Fine Gael in Cavan and Monaghan is now complete.
It follows two candidates being selected at the Fine Gael convention last Friday night. The Tullyvin native has been a councillor for over 10 years and she has been telling Ronan Gargan all about contesting the upcoming election.
