It was a glorious morning weather-wise in Urblekirk just outside Monaghan Town this morning for the official opening of Rainbow Lodge.
The ribbon was cut by Disabilities Minister Anne Rabbitte who today, delivered on a promise she made back in March to have respite care in County Monaghan up and running by the end of the year.
Now, children with additional needs have a safe place to go where they can socialise, learn new skills and be themselves. Zoe Tunney spoke with some of those who attended today's opening event.
