LISTEN BACK: Celebrating the EU and GFA at Peace Link in Clones

A family Day and celebration of 50 years of the EU will take place at the Peace Link in Clones from 4:30pm today. Cllr Sean Conlon says the Peace Link captures the spirit and positive impact the implementation of EU policy has had on the region.

Speaking to the Wider View this week, he highlighted how Peace and Reconciliation funding has not only helped communities on both sides of the border, it has also assisted nationalities that have chosen Co Monaghan as their home, to integrate. First though, Cllr Conlon pointed to the importance of the Peace Link at its Clones location.
