Cavan Tidy Towns group has yet again been recognised at a regional awards event that was held in Roscommon in recent days.
The local tidy towns group picked up two awards at the 2022 Supervalu Tidy Towns Awards for the North West and West region.
The Cavan Town team came out first on county level and won silver on a national level.

The group was also named as a finalist for a national award for best enviromental ecological project 2023.
Our reporter Ronan Gargan has been speaking to Cavan Tidy Towns Group member, Paul Lynch about their recent accolades being bestowed on the group.
Paul has being tell Ronan all about the group and he also says they are delighted with their recent acknowledgements on a local and national level.
