Listen Back: Cavan student represents Ireland on world stage

Eighteen young people are showing off their skills in France! They are competing for Team Ireland at a World Skills event .

Indeed, they've travelled to Lyon to take part in competitions in areas like cyber security, beauty therapy and industrial mechanics. There are more than 15 hundred competitors in this week's championships. which comes ahead of World Skills Ireland at the RDS in Dublin later this month.

Cavan's WorldSkills competitor Allana Moffit is representing Ireland in cookery and she has been telling Ronan Gargan all about it.
