A Cavan native who has been described as a true pioneer for women's rights in New Zealand will be honoured with a Blue Plaque this weekend.

Blue Plaques are erected throughout Ulster to honour those who have contributed to the province's history, and Local Minister Heather Humphreys will unveil the plaque.
