Monaghan secondary school student, Cameron Mills, got a pleasant surprise when he found out his auntie nominated him in this year's Netwatch Family Carer of the Year Awards.
The 12-year-old from Drum has been a devoted carer for his father who battles a rare and challenging condition called IBMPFD. His father's severe health issues require constant care, and Cameron steps up, helping with various tasks like monitoring oxygen levels, and assisting with mobility.
