Earlier this week, a Session of the British-Irish Parliamentary Assembly took place to mark the 25th Anniversary of Good Friday Agreement. During proceedings members unanimously adopted a motion on the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement.
Fianna Fail TD for Cavan and Monaghan, Deputy Brendan Smith, is a member of the Assembly. He spoke to the Wider View about the Session and began by explaining how people involved in the talks to establish the Good Friday Agreement were also in attendance.
