Listen Back: Blacklion Tidy Towns on the lookout for new members

The Blacklion Tidy Towns committee is looking for more "workers and do-ers".

For years now, a group of dedicated locals have undertaken all the jobs required for the annual Tidy Towns competition but, as a couple of members have stepped down after years of volunteering, their roles need to be filled to continue the good work.

Presently, the group has 12 regular members which includes new retirees to the west Cavan town and some Ukrainian refugees.

Ronan Gargan has been speaking to long-term member Ena McGinley about this call out for volunteers.
