LISTEN BACK: Biodiversity Week: 'Bats about Lough Muckno'

As you will have been hearing on the Wider View over the last few days, national Biodiversity Week begins on Monday and there are a number of events taking place locally in conjunction with Monaghan County Council.

Niamh Roche is leading a bat workshop along the shores of Lough Muckno on Monday next, the 22nd of May. Niamh spoke to the Wider View on Thursday and she began by describing the species of bats that are native to this region.
