A Biodiversity officer has been appointed to County Monaghan.
Patricia McCreesh has taken up the role of Monaghan County Councils new biodiversity officer with responsibility for ensuring that the natural environment is at the forefront of all council policies going forward.
A Swift Survey that is currently underway in the county and is very much to the fore of her new role.
Patricia has lots of exciting ideas planned for the county to help with climate change. Ronan Gargan have been speaking to the local woman and I have been finding out about her new role.
