Co Cavan 12 year old Billy Lord will be cycling 123km from the Beacon Hospital in Dublin to Cuan in Cavan, to raise funds for Cuan because they have been so supportive to his family.
Billy's mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in December. Since then, Cuan have been a constant in the families' life. Billy decided to fundraise for Cuan and give a little back so began Billy's Big Cycle.
On Saturday Billy will cycle from The Beacon Hospital in Dublin, to Cuan in Cavan, a distance of 123km. Billy will be accompanied by his Dad, to symbolise the journey his Mum made each week for her treatment.
All funds raised here will go directly to Cuan Cancer Support Centre Cavan, Ronan Gargan from the Northern Sound news team has been speaking to Billy and his mother Stephanie about this mammoth challenge that he is embarking on.
