This week, the EU and the UK made progress in their talks on the Northern Ireland Protocol.
It appears that the EU is set to accept the principle that GB goods shipped to Northern Ireland and staying there should be treated differently to goods moving south into the single market.
As a result, a green and red lane model at ports will be established.
