Listen Back: Ballyjamesduff MD councillors want age of bus drivers raised

All members of the Ballyjamesduff Municipal District have come together.  The Members are calling for changes to the National School Transport System.

Indeed, councillors from all parties united over the issue. Basically, some 20 children in their MD have started the new school term without a seat.

Chiefly, Ballyjamesduff councillors asked the government to raise the age drivers are allowed to drive a bus from 70 to 75.

Fine Gael Councillor Trevor Smith told Zoe Tunney there are several ways the school bus problem could be fixed.
