A Co Cavan man is currently preparing for the British Transplant Games which are taking place next weekend. Ciaran Tiernan from Bailieboro is a member of Transplant Ireland's soccer team that will be in Coventry from the 28th to the 30th of July next.
Speaking to the Wider View, Ciarán said the event brings people who have had similar experiences together. First though, he began by explaining how he came to have a liver transplant when he was just four-years-old.
