Arva Craft and Chat Group along with Kathleen Brady recently undertook the 'Trauma Teddies' project which exists in Northern Ireland. The Group took it on as a community project which wouldn't be possible without the Cavan Library Services.
The Nifty Knitters created comforting teddies for Cavan Gardaí to hand out to young or vulnerable bystanders in frightening situations. Inspector Mullally facilitated communication between the group and Cavan Gardaí.
