Last Tuesday, Derek Thornton had his 1992 CASE International 856 XL tractor and New Holland 274 conventional bailer stolen. The machinery stored in his yard in Stragowna Road, Kinawley.
Derek is bewildered to know what anyone else would want with his classic 1992 tractor and square bailer. Indeed, Derek believes they may have been stolen to order.
It is also likely the machinery was taken over the border from Fermanagh into Cavan and beyond.

Derek gave a full description of the machinery to Zoe Tunney from the Northern Sound news team and, additionally, stated that he is willing to pay a reward for their safe return.
