Almost €400,000 has been announced for the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Newbliss. The others locally to benefit from the arts council funding were the Ramor Theatre, the Town Hall Cavan and the Garage Theatre in Monaghan Town. 102,000 was announced for the Ramor and the Town hall while 66,000 was announced for the Garage Theatre.
Nationally 175 grants were awarded to organisations, art centres and arts studios across the country. The funding stream that the Tyrone Guthrie Centre received was through the
