Listen Back: Additional bus seats confirmed for students in wider Mullahoran area

After weeks of highlighting the plight of 20 secondary school students left without a seat on their school bus in the wider Mullahoran and Ballymachugh area; there could be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Finally, the Department of Education have sanctioned a bigger bus to operate on that route. The A20 bus route services Kilnaleck, Killydoon, Ballyheelan via Ballinagh to Cavan Town.

The families staged a protest at the start of the new school term. Indeed, they told Northern Sound at the time they were prepared to ramp up their campaign until the Department of Education fixed the problems on their route.
