Listen Back: A 'night for Palestine' to take place in Blayney

An event for Palestine will take place tonight at the Iontas Theatre in Castleblayney. A night of music, comedy and film will take place at 8pm in aid of the ongoing war in Palestine. As part of tonight's line up, a screening of 'The Wilde Sisters' which was directed and produced by Monaghan's very own Taine King will take place.

The short-film focuses on the deaths of Emily and Mary Wilde, the half-sisters of Irish poet, novelist and dramatist, Oscar Wilde. The sisters lost their lives in a tragic fire at Drumaconnor House just off the Monaghan/Clones road back in 1871. Jodie Curran spoke with Taine about tonight's event:
